A threat rises.

While The Group split up to go their separate ways an important event took place elsewhere. In a desolate grove a mutilated body burst into flames. It's body becoming consumed. The body still immersed in the flames began to move. As it stood figures stepped out warily and handed it the items their masters has bade them. A heavy fireproof cloak to contain and conceal it's luminous and fiery form, A welding mask to further contain and conceal it and focus it's ability to see and speak, A strange scythe of pain and heat and a name. They called him The Ashen Phoenix and they told him what he was. A once dead servant of The Convocation given new life by The Convocation in the form of the mythical Phoenix contained within him. The servants dispersed as The Phoenix itself spoke to him from within now. Telling him why they brought him back.

He was to join with others, who he will meet later, as part of a squad dedicated to the destruction of The Fears' enemies. Those ones beyond the scope of normal servants but who The Fears themselves do not wish to engage personally. The Ashen Phoenix is taken to meet certain other Fears. The Archangel who was influenced to use his powers to make this revival possible, The Slender Man who The Ashen Phoenix did once serve and lastly The Blind Man to erase from his mind all memory of who he had been prior to his revival as The Ashen Phoenix. After this he was left alone to await the arrival of the people who would become his companions.

An ending lost.

After failing to save the universe twice and allowing for the creation of a third universe. The proud conquerors of The Amalgam step out of The End for the last time in Jack's second created universe. Though, they have no awareness of their previous failures, they have many reasons to feel glad. They have just saved the universe from The Amalgam and this time it didn't result in the death of all The Fears or the rising of The Ne Timu.

The Liar is waiting for them outside and congratulates them on a job well done. Jack is there as well, but he doesn't speak and remains unnoticed. He has created this universe against his will but he planted a seed within that he hopes will result in his revenge on The Muffin Man and company. He, like myself, plays the part of an unconcerned observer in this story. The events are already in motion and from this point on he will no longer interfere.

Their job done the group intends to split up and go their separate ways. Harold intends to return to serving The Wooden Girl. Dr. Malice and Portnoy will head back to the doctor's home and eventually Portnoy may or may not return to his family. The Liar will continue as she has her entire life. The Muffin Man and The Cold Seeker will probably return to their own home and live out their lives quietly.

At least that is what all these people intend to do. Unfortunately this is not what will happen. For unbeknownst to them but known to you and I, dear reader, their fight is not in fact over.
